Thank you for your interest in the Shire of Isenfir and the Society for Creative Anachronism! Most activities are in normal clothes and are beginner friendly. We welcome individuals and families alike — children must be accompanied by an adult. For martial and fighting activities we have loaner gear available. For dancing, no previous experience or partner is needed.
April and May 2026 Announcement: We will be hosting a number of newcomer events in the coming weeks. These are a great way to get hands-on experience and try out a new activity or skill! All newcomer events are free and loaner gear is provided for martial and fighting activities. More information will be posted on the activities page as the newcomer events are announced, but if you want to be the first to hear about events, join our mailing list.
As of July 2024, the majority of our activities are in person. The business meeting and some learning opportunities remain virtual. Reach out to IsenfirWelcome@gmail.com for week-by-week details.
